The „Youth Against Radicalism" project is a joint initiative of 7 organizations representing 7 countries: Poland, Portugal, Lithuania, Croatia, Greece, Bulgaria, Spain ( 5 participants- 4 youth (18-25 years) and one group leader (without age limit) per country), in total 35 participants. The overriding goal is to support participants and young people in understanding and explore topics co-related with tolerance, intercultural integration, establishing social dialogue, broadening knowledge in the field of human rights or civic awareness, counteracting negative phenomena, such as xenophobia, racism, aggression, lack of tolerance, etc. During the project participants will be working on participation and implementation of improvisation and drama workshops, implementing their own activities and creating the final product- comic book.
During the youth exchange, youth, we will not only share thoughts, experience, acquire new knowledge (including active citizenship, civic awareness or observance of human rights) and skills. We also want to involve the local community during our happening, but above all, we want to use this time to create a comics in which the Mascot invented by us will play the main role - the voice of youth who opposes negative behaviors in Europe. We will create stories that make up the whole comic strip, depicting the negative behaviors that young people had to deal with - being a victim or an observer.
In an accessible and simple way, by means of illustrations, we will present problems, as well as the possibilities to solve them, prevent negative phenomena and become a conscious and tolerant citizen of Europe. The comics is also a very good way of expressing our emotions, fighting with stress or therapy. Using illustrations, our peers who are shy may express their opinion in a very expressive and firm manner.

The Training Course is scheduled for 28 April – 5 May 2019 and will be hosted in Trabzon, Turkey.
Over the past decades online media and digital tools revolutionized the world, becoming an inseparable part of most of people’s activities. The ‘e-world’ is fast becoming a new dimension of ‘living’ and doing business, with millions of companies, institutions, organizations and other entities turning ‘e’ (e-services, e-sales, e-healthcare, e-governance, etc.). European Commission is also going to the digital world with the Digital Agenda for Europe in the 2020 strategy.
Youth work is in a similar way turning to the digital world, where so many young people are spending 30+ hours per week. Digital youth work, work with social media, development of online work of organizations, e-promotion are becoming areas that require youth workers and youth leaders to become competent in. Digitalization already affected teaching, training and delivery of educational activities in the all of the fields (MOOCs, webinars, peer-2-peer online learning, learning worlds). The change also affected the way youth organization operate, attract young people with their services or even promote themselves. In order to stay visible and up-to-date, it is necessary to ensure that media and digital tools are skillfully used in day-to-day management of youth organizations.

"Entrepreneurship vs Orphans 1.0 : Baby Steps" is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange which will take place in Tokat/Turkey between 12 - 20 May 2018 organised by an informal group which called " Young Entrepreneurs From Orphanage Youth Group”.
6 Partners organisation (from Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia and Spain) will take part in this project.
The reason why we do this Project is; Hundreds of young people leave the orphanages and try to make a living in Turkey every year. According to Social Services Law Article (2828) of Republic of Turkey, young people who have lived in the orphanages are employed at public bodies. Thus these people prefer to be employed this way instead of being entrepreneurs themselves.
The education programs in Turkey and Europe are insufficient with regard to making these people entrepreneurs. While struggling with unemployment, the new generation is not confident enough to turn their ideas into an enterprise.
Knowledge is power and this power is the key to shaping young people’s future.
Project EVSO1.0 (Entrepreneurship vs Orphans 1.0: Baby Steps) aims to inform primarily the young people living in orphanages about entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. The project also aims to motive young people living in orphanages to be entrepreneurs.

The “Transitioning by Travelling” seminar aims at strengthening the participants’ ability to design and implement learning mobility projects to attend to the needs of a wide range of target groups, among which more vulnerable groups.
We believe that the current issues we are facing as a society require us to adapt to new situations and that learning mobility projects have a great potential regarding the empowerment of both individuals and social organizations.
For individuals, it represents an opportunity to look at things with new eyes, to open up to new realities, and to gain confidence in one’s capabilities. For civil society organizations, it is an opportunity to share knowledge and sets of good practices in order to design projects capable of addressing the current economic, social and ecological issues at stake.
In order to turn this potential into concrete results, we believe key actors responsible for such projects need to broaden their skillset and structure their fields.
The Transitioning by Travelling seminar thus offers to gather 31 youth workers and educators from 9 EU countries (France, Greece, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Hungary, Slovakia and Croatia) so they can meet and share their experience and good practices regarding the design and management of learning mobility projects.
They will aim at stepping up their teaching/learning toolset, design non-formal education programs, and improve the support they can provide to their target groups, in order to let them reach personal autonomy and foster social transformation.
By enhancing the participants’ skillset, we aim at improving and broadening the spectrum of opportunities for non-formal education in their home countries, then more widely in Europe through the gradual propagation of their learnings.
The seminar will also be an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between the partners involved and their respective networks. We hope this will lead to the development of new projects addressing non-formal education, youth, social inclusion and sustainability.

The recent dramatic events in the Middle East and Africa (such as, for example, the birth of the Islamic Caliphate, the ethnic cleansing in Iraq, the abduction and murder of hundreds of women in Africa and the religious chaos in Libya) made us feel the need to try to figure out if religions actually are the cause of everything. Moreover, in Italy (and in much of Europe) is spreading a worrying "Islamophobia" (in fact, in Budapest was held a major international conference about it, to September 2015) which in some respects is similar to the ideals of “anti-westernization” professed in some countries of the Middle East. In this case, religion is often used, rightly or wrongly, as the last bastion of "nationalism" or "social membership", contrasting it to the company that made you want to tackle. But religions are not born and were not born for these reasons. Leaving out the purely theological content, we believe that the best thing of all religions is that very often they contain the history and identity of an entire people, traditions, customs and art. Some religions are very old then but unfortunately at risk of extinction, mainly because of human, all too often degenerated into persecution, genocide and forced proselytism. We have therefore decided to carry out this project just to try to enjoy and appreciate the true meaning of religious cults. From Islam to Orthodox, through the Yazidi, Neo Paganism and Waldensian,, all religions speak of peace and brotherhood among people.

The idea of the BioDiversity project comes from the crisis that has taken root in recent years and is profoundly chang- ing our society: an economic, social and environmental crisis.
Despite this contraction and this general trend, in all parts of Europe, citizens are committed to projects of collective action and social transformation. There is a growing awareness of "other ways" of acting and living together: the re- search offers more and more tangible examples that we actually have the necessary resources to ensure sustainable de- velopment of our territories and our society.
We have to keep focus on the basis of our life, the "scenario" that hosts us: the ecosystem that today, more than ever, needs us and our responsibility.
There is a growing need for collective maturity, the need to become aware and act actively and wisely towards our envi- ronment and the defense of its biodiversity, an essential factor for the preservation of the planet and the species that inhabit it.

Many of the European Union’s rural areas face a common challenge, as their capacity to create high-quality, sustainable jobs has fallen behind that of urban areas. Generally, incomes are lower in rural regions than in towns or cities and there are fewer job opportunities. Marginalized youth living in rural areas have a problem getting good jobs and continued education to get ahead in life and contribute to society. They’re facing unemployment & they don’t know how to get out of their situation. One of the obvious solutions for them is to move to the city and try to get a job there. Even if they do manage to get one, it is usually a low-paying one. They would still be struggling in life, not advancing in terms of personal development and not contributing much to society. These marginalized youth possess one asset, which isn’t being explored by anyone to its fullest potential – their familiarity with the rural area that they live in. If they were shown how to capitalize on this asset, they could create something of a higher value. Starting a business in rural areas would be a great vehicle for capitalizing on this asset that they already have. There's high demand for certain things in rural areas that marginalized youth could take time to explore and fulfill.

Stable and equal partnerships are the key element in every youth project. Relations build on trust, thorough needs analysis, shared authority and responsibility constitute an indispensable condition of a successful initiative and enable the results to be transferred and developed even beyond the scope of the project. Too often, however, partners do not have the possibility to share their work sufficiently and to exchange common goals and needs of their organisations and target groups. It negatively influences especially long-term initiatives (such as EVS and strategic partnerships), proper engagement of young people and project evaluation process.
The main aim of the Partnership Building Activity ‘Go Pro!’ is to bring together representatives of partner organisations that have already some connections or history of mutual cooperation in order to facilitate the exchange of skills, methods and experience from different cultural and professional perspectives. They will work on developing activities that include full support systems and engagement methods addressed to young people as their active participants and beneficiaries, based on previous experience. PBA will enable partners to exchange their skills and experience in terms of: needs analysis, intercultural approach, youth participation, coaching tools in youth work, evaluation and life-long learning – and implement them in their following projects.
As a result of the PBA, partners will develop common projects addressing the real needs of their target groups which will be conducted with the use of innovative methods of youth engagement and participation. The activity will help to strengthen and develop existing partnerships as well as new ones and will create a space for sharing experience and building safe and trustful atmosphere of mutual cooperation. The expected outcomes include new youth-orientated projects (especially long-term), new working methods and stable partnerships that will enable to put the work of participating organisations on a higher level and ‘Go Pro’ with their activities.

Poverty even in the modern society, increasing sizes of the landfills, greenhouse gases emissions are the problems that are all connected with one issue - the ever increasing waste of food. This issue is one of the key problems in the European societies not only because it is a danger to the environment but also because it is a part of the paradox situation of people, companies, supermarkets and restaurants throwing out the perfectly good food, while the majority of the world is starving. In order to develop awareness about this issue, a project 'Appetite for Waste” will be hosted in Lithuania. The main objective of the project is to increase and develop awareness of environmental and social issues caused by excessive consumerism and incompetent waste management and try to find the creative and sustainable solutions for these problems on the individual and small community level. This aim should be reached by 1) introducing the youth with existing problems caused by food waste and share the knowledge about some of the possible solutions from each participating country; 2) generating new ideas or taking the good examples from leading countries in waste management and find creative ways on how to implement those locally; 3) teaching youth how to spread their gained knowledge to their community and beyond; and develop greater awareness in the social circles of participants proving that actions of every person counts. Even though the project is aimed to encourage people to look for solutions for this one particular problem, it also should help the participants to become more active and involved in other European issues as well. It is expected that participants will not only improve their knowledge on the issue but also they will get a number of skills and competences needed to share that knowledge in their social circles or international groups. They will get practical knowledge of how they can improve their conduct towards food and teach or encourage others to do so. At the same time, the project would help them grow internationally, increase public awareness of their actions and enhance their capacities of reaching the objectives of youth development. As a result, the project should develop greater awareness about the food waste and everyday activities that can help to decrease it. Therefore, it is expected that the more people will receive the message, the less environmental, economical and social issues related to this problem will occur.
Looking at current events in the EU and especially issues like Scotland becoming independent, the UK considering leaving the EU, the economic crisis in the EU and other factors that influence our daily lives, our training course will look at how these impact youth in the EU. We will see how these important issues impact the EU and its stability and our standing as EU Citizens. An important factor with regard to the UK and the possibility that it might leave the EU will be discussed in details and especially the impact something like this will have on the EU. Looking at these problems allows us to understand the fundamental principles of the EU and how youth are affected by these outcomes and how young people can influence these outcomes or changes in the EU. The objective of the training course is to give youth workers and staff the tools to develop activities and workshops in their communities for young people to better understand the EU, their role in the EU and to become more active citizens. Giving them the tools to help young people plan a more active role in their society and in the EU, to support their beliefs, uphold their principles and their cultures in a unified EU that respects our individuality. Young people believe that they are insignificant in the EU and that they play no role in policy reform or any change. This has become more apparent with the degree of difficulty seen when trying to approach policy makers and stakeholders. The system is almost designed to exclude the input of youth. This training course will give youth workers the tools to develop methodologies to help young people to be more active in the fields of youth policy, to understand how events in the EU affect their lives and how to make the changes that our policies need on a local and European level. The project will teach how we can access information and EU laws and how these laws are created. We will see how youth can be more active in policy reform. The training course will outline the principals of democracy and evaluate the democratic standing of EU countries and the EU as a union. Elaborating on the impact smaller countries can have on EU policy and the impact and changes that the EU implements in smaller EU member countries and the effect of this on youth.

It is very difficult to get a job that could appraise their attitudes and ambitions, but it could be easy to start creating a new one useful for social life and community: an answer should be given. With this project we will try to find alternative solutions in commuting their skills as volunteers to professionals and self-employed. The project is a result of partnership building activity ‘Go East’ conducted in Georgia in March 2014.. We realized that there are several issues common to all of the organizations that need addressing, many of them concerning the inefficiency of their work in terms of audience and young people to work and bring attention of a wider public to the social issues of their local community and country.
The main objectives of the project are: To teach youth workers tools useful in promotion of their work such as: social media, photography, videos, flash mobs, exhibitions, fairs etc. To create or develop new communication channels and platforms (such as: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter) To raise awareness on the social issues relevant to the work of participants among them and their target groups; To stimulate the sense of entrepreneurship and responsibility for their work among participants (a lot of young people feel resigned and put off not being able to reach out to their target group or raise voice on the important topic. Our project will help them use new tools to promote their work and focus most of their strength on issues they are working with); Create a link between professional business and social work by showing that skills relevant to work and career can be used and developed also in youth work, making the said person more attractive on a labor market.
We chose Moldova as the venue of the project due to several reasons. Moldova has a history of social activism held with the help of social media, especially in 2009, when on the 7th of April “the Twitter Revolution” took place conducted against the Fraud Elections. The participants of the project will thus have an opportunity to discuss and see the realistic outcome of social campaigns in the venue of the project and talk about the importance of such campaigns with people who were affected by them.

Discrimination towards minorities has always been one of the key issues in Europe. People of different races, cultures, sexual orientations and religions are often enduring intolerance, which results in their exclusion from the society, as well as problems in the labor market. Even though the EU acts towards eliminating these wrongs, countries such as Lithuania, Spain, Romania, Turkey, Croatia and Italy are still lacking behind. Along with all the partner organizations participating in the project, we believe that educating young people is the key to progress on these issues. Thus, we are organising youth exchange, which would address the previously mentioned problems in the countries where they are especially acute.
